Gina Carano is an American MMA fighter, actress and model. She started her training with straight Muay Thai, where her record of 12–1–1, she received an offer to participate in the first sanctioned women’s fight in MMA in Nevada. The battle took place under the aegis of the little-known promotion of World Extreme Fighting, and her opponent was Letizia Pestova, which Gina knocked out for 38 seconds. Gina Carano has personal record of 7-1 in MMA with her last match in August 2009 versus Cristiane Justino, when she lost by Technical Knockout prompting her to stop her career in fighting.
Gina Carano is also public person and actress, participating in the show “American Gladiators” and is widely known as the “Female Face in the MMA”, but refuses to recognize this title.
In 2009, Gina Carano starred her movie and actress career, getting an episodic role in the film “Blood and Bone”. A full debut in the movie was the role of Mallory Kane in the film “Haywire”, which premier was in 2011. The beautiful MMA fighter also had a role in “Fast & Furious 6”, “Heist”, “Deadpool” and “Kickboxer: Vengeance” and has a number of other films in works including “Daughter of the Wolf” and “Scorched Earth” which will be coming out in 2018!
Gina Carano was one of the few athletes to make the cover of ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue in 2009 and was named “Hottest Woman In America” by Big Biz Magazine in Spring 2008.
